Announcing the Wayne N. Ladouceur Award! ...new Oct. 2018
We lost a wonderful volunteer earlier this year, Wayne Ladouceur. In memory and honor of Wayne, his wife, Cheryl, has created the Wayne N. Ladouceur Award, to recognize an hourly UH employee who gives generously of him- or herself to better the lives of UH residents and clients, just as Wayne did.
Nominations are now open for this $1,000 award!
To learn more about eligibility and qualifications for the award, download the nomination form.
The nomination deadline is November 30, 2018.

Recognition of Your Generosity in UH's Giving Circles
Thank you for your giving! We enjoy recognizing each of you at the following levels:
Society Founders ($500+)
Named for Mary Averell Knap, the first President of the Board of Directors, serving from 1898—1906.
Her strong ideas and decisive actions played a major role in the early development of the Society of the United Helpers.
Donors in this giving circle are integral partners in the continuous, attentive care that United Helpers provides.
Named for Alzina M. Milligan, who was the first matron of the Society of the United Helpers.
She would travel the countryside in her horse and buggy to request produce and canned goods for the children.
Donors in this giving circle are honored through the comparison to Alzina.
The Leaders circle honors all of those who lead through such great kindness to UH clients and residents.
Each of the Society's 12 original donors in the late 1800s gave $100 to establish the Society of the United Helpers.
(Today, their gifts would be worth $2,817 each!)
Honors all donors who, throughout our 120 years of service, have been treasured friends to the family of residents and clients whom United Helpers serves.
At any time, contact the UH Development Office at 315-714-3110 x522, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
